The United States District Court of Rhode Island handles federal cases such as Bankruptcies, probation and the court of appeals. Cases, records and other document materials can be accessed with the pacer system. Pacer stands for Public Access to Court Electronic Records which provides dockets for around ten cents per page. Other states in the same system can also be accessed.
