The county's Voter Service Center is located at the County Administration Building in Eagle, with additional centers opened closer to Election Day. In the November 2024 presidential election, Eagle County reported approximately 70-75% voter turnout, with approximately 28,000 ballots cast from roughly 38,000 registered voters, reflecting Colorado's consistently high participation due to mail ballot convenience. On November 3, 2026, local voters will decide several significant races. Colorado does not have a U.S. Senate seat up in 2026, but voters will elect a new Governor (term expires 2027), all state House of Representatives seats with their 2-year terms, half of the state Senate with 4-year staggered terms, and numerous county offices including County Commissioner districts, Sheriff, Clerk and Recorder, Assessor, Treasurer, Coroner, and Surveyor. The town will not have municipal elections in 2026 since even years are off-cycle, but voters may see ballot measures for county issues, school district matters, or state propositions.
