Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is the primary law enforcement agency for unincorporated areas of Jefferson County, headquartered at 200 Jefferson County Parkway, Golden, CO 80401. The agency operates Jefferson County Detention Facility (county jail) located at 1300 Simms Street in Golden, which houses pre-trial detainees and sentenced inmates.
