Telfair County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2010 census, the population was 16,500. The county seat is McRae-Helena. The county was created on December 10, 1807.
Telfair County is governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners, which is elected from single-member districts.
