Accomack County, Virginia Public Records

Accomack County is a county located in the eastern part of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The county seat is Accomac.

The county is part of the Eastern Shore of Virginia, which in turn is part of the Delmarva Peninsula. It is bordered by Northampton County, Virginia and the Atlantic Ocean.

The county is governed by a seven-member Board of Supervisors. The board is elected from seven districts, each of which is represented by one supervisor. The board is responsible for setting county policies and establishing the county budget.

Accomack County Virginia Circuit Court is located in Accomack, VA. It has jurisdiction over civil and criminal cases, including felonies, misdemeanors, traffic violations, and civil cases. It also has jurisdiction over appeals from the General District Court.
