Tennessee public records law makes voter registration information publicly available, including names, addresses, and voting history (whether an individual voted in a specific election, though not how they voted), which can be requested from the Henderson County Election Commission. Campaign finance reports for local and state candidates are filed with the Tennessee Registry of Election Finance and are publicly searchable at https://www.tn.gov/tref. In Looking ahead to the November 3, 2026 general election, local voters will decide several key races: Tennessee's gubernatorial election (Governor Bill Lee's term expires in 2027, making 2026 a gubernatorial election year), all five of Tennessee's statewide constitutional offices (Secretary of State, Attorney General, Treasurer, Comptroller, and others are elected by the General Assembly but preceded by party nomination processes), Tennessee State Senate District 24 and Tennessee State House of Representatives District 76 (which includes Henderson County), the U.S. House of Representatives sefor Tennessee's 8th Congressional District, and various Henderson County offices including County Commission seats, Assessor of Property, County Clerk, Criminal Court Clerk, Circuit Court Clerk, Register of Deeds, Sheriff, and Trustee, many of which will be on the 2026 ballot depending on term schedules.
