PublicRecordCenter.com is a free directory. Its pages link to the official public record sources kept by cities, counties, states, courts and federal agencies. The site does not hold public records, does not run background checks and does not build files on the people who are looked up through the sources it links to.

This policy covers the pages on publicrecordcenter.com. The official sites the directory links to, and the advertising partner behind the sponsored search box, each have their own policies that apply once you leave this site or use their service.

There are no accounts and no sign up. Like every website, our servers record standard log data for each visit: the address your connection comes from, the browser and device type, the pages viewed, the page that referred you and the time of the visit. These logs are used to keep the site running, to measure traffic and to find and fix problems.

The sponsored search box that appears near the top of many pages is provided by an advertising partner. Anything you type into it is passed to that partner and handled under the partner's own privacy policy. We do not store the names or searches entered in that box.

You may use the directory for any lawful purpose. The site is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and the information reached through it must not be used to decide on employment, credit, insurance, housing or any other purpose covered by that Act. Anyone who needs a report for those purposes must use a compliant screening provider that follows the Act.

The directory is provided as it is. We check the official links and keep them current as best we can, but agencies move and rename their pages, and we make no promise about what an outside site holds, charges or does with your information.

Do not scrape, crawl or harvest the site with automated tools beyond the ordinary indexing that search engines do, do not try to interfere with the site or its servers, and do not present the directory or its content as your own.
