Johnson County, located in west-central Missouri, is the 18th most populated county in the state. Its population was 53,924 as of the 2019 U.S. Census, and its main cities are Warrensburg, Knob Noster, Holden and Centerview. Warrensburg is the county's administrative seat. The County covers 582 square miles and is part of the greater Kansas City metropolitan area.
