These positions are typically elected in November of odd-numbered years under Virginia's local election cycle. The county typically sets up polling places in community centers, fire stations, and public buildings throughout the area. Early voting, known as in-person absentee voting, is available at the County Registrar's office beginning 45 days before an election and ending the Saturday before Election Day.
