Nassau County is located in the northeastern corner of Florida and is part of the Jacksonville metropolitan area. The county seat is Fernandina Beach.

Nassau County is governed by a five-member Board of County Commissioners, which is elected from single-member districts. The county is also served by a constitutional officer, the Sheriff, who is elected county-wide. Other elected officials include the Property Appraiser, Tax Collector, Supervisor of Elections, and Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Nassau County is home to several state parks, including Amelia Island State Park, Fort Clinch State Park, and Little Talbot Island State Park. The county is also home to several wildlife management areas, including Nassau Wildlife Management Area, Nassau River Wildlife Management Area, and Nassau Sound Wildlife Management Area.

Nassau County, Florida is located in the northeastern part of the state and is part of the Fourth Judicial Circuit. The Nassau County Courthouse is located in Yulee. The court has jurisdiction over civil and criminal cases, including felonies, misdemeanors, juvenile delinquency, family law, probate, and small claims.
