Anderson County Sheriff's Office, led by Sheriff Chad McBride, is the primary law enforcement agency for unincorporated areas of Anderson County and operates Anderson County Detention Center. The official website is www.andersonsheriff.com, where citizens can access information about services, programs, and community initiatives. Anderson County Detention Center houses pretrial detainees and sentenced inmates, and maintains an online inmate search tool accessible through the Sheriff's Office website, allowing the public to search current inmates by name, booking number, or other identifiers.
