Bethel Borough is a borough in the state of Alaska, United States. The borough seat is Bethel, Alaska. The borough was established in 1962 and covers an area of 2,054 square miles. As of the 2010 census, the population was 6,080.
The borough is governed by a seven-member assembly, which is elected at-large. The assembly is responsible for enacting ordinances, setting policy, and appointing a borough manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the borough.
