Bostic, North Carolina Public Records

North Carolina residents may register to vote online at https://www.ncdmv.gov/ (through the DMV portal) or at https://www.ncsbe.gov/ (the State Board of Elections website), by mail using a voter registration application, or in person at the Rutherford County Board of Elections office. Registration must be completed 25 days before any election. The state does not require party registration for primary elections; voters may choose which party's primary ballot to request. As an unincorporated community, Bostic does not hold municipal elections for mayor or town council. Residents participate in Rutherford County and state elections, as well as federal contests. County races typically include positions such as County Commissioners, Sheriff, Register of Deeds, and Board of Education members. State legislative elections cover North Carolina House of Representatives and Senate seats; the community is part of North Carolina House District 113 and Senate District 47 (district boundaries should be verified as they can change with redistricting).
