Bristol Bay Borough is a borough located in the state of Alaska. It is the westernmost borough in the state and is located in the southwestern part of the state. The borough was established in 1962 and has a population of approximately 1,500 people. The borough seat is located in Dillingham, Alaska.
The government of Bristol Bay Borough is composed of a mayor and six council members. The mayor is elected to a four-year term and the council members are elected to two-year terms. The mayor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the borough and the council is responsible for setting policy and approving the budget.
