Brunswick County is a county located in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The county seat is Lawrenceville. The county was created in 1720.

Brunswick County is governed by a five-member Board of Supervisors, elected from single-member districts. The Board of Supervisors is responsible for setting county policies and overseeing the county budget. The county is also served by a constitutional officer, the Clerk of the Circuit Court, who is elected to a four-year term.

The county is part of the Southside Virginia region and is located in the southeastern corner of the state. It is bordered by Lunenburg County to the north, Mecklenburg County to the east, Greensville County to the south, and Charlotte County to the west. The county is served by U.S. Route 58, which runs east-west through the county, and U.S. Route 360, which runs north-south.
