Cass County is governed by a four-member Commissioners Court, with one commissioner representing each of the four precincts in the county. The county is served by the Cass County Independent School District, which includes Linden-Kildare High School, Queen City High School, and Atlanta High School. The county is also home to the University of Texas at Texarkana.

Circuit Court Address
Cass County Texas Court is located at 100 W. Houston Street, Linden, TX 75563. It is a district court that handles civil and criminal cases. It also handles family law, probate, juvenile, and other matters. The court is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
