During the November 2024 presidential election, Harlan County recorded approximately 6,200 votes from roughly 12,500 registered voters, yielding about 50% turnout with the strong Republican preference characteristic of eastern Kentucky. Voter registration lists and precinct-level results are public records available through the Harlan County Clerk and State Board of Elections. County constitutional offices won't be on that ballot since they were elected in 2022 for four-year terms.
