While the standard registration deadline falls 15 days before an election, Michigan now permits same-day registration at the clerk's office through Election Day and at polling places on Election Day with proof of residency. As an unincorporated community, Gregory doesn't hold municipal elections. Instead, Unadilla Township provides local governance, holding elections for township supervisor, clerk, treasurer, and four trustee positions during even-numbered years in the August primary and November general election. Residents locate their assigned polling place by entering their address at www.michigan.gov/vote or contacting Livingston County Clerk's office. Polling locations typically operate from township halls or schools. Under MCL 168.522 and 168.523, voter registration lists are public records available for purchase by political committees and certain other requestors, though individual information enjoys privacy protections. Campaign finance records for state and local candidates are maintained by the Michigan Secretary of State and searchable at www.michigan.gov/sos under the Campaign Finance System. Candidate filings, ballot language, and precinct-level results are public records available through Livingston County Clerk and Secretary of State. All 110 Michigan House seats and 38 Michigan Senate seats will appear on the ballot. County voters will elect county commissioners, the sheriff, clerk/register of deeds, treasurer, prosecuting attorney, and drain commissioner. State Board of Education and university board positions will also be decided. Michigan's no-reason absentee voting allows any registered voter to request an absentee ballot. Applications can be submitted online through the Michigan Voter Information Center, by mail, or in person at the county or township clerk's office. Absentee ballots are mailed beginning 45 days before Election Day, and voters can track their ballot status online at www.michigan.gov/vote.
