Idaho Missing Children Resources

The state of Idaho offers support and assistance in the search for, and recovery of, missing or abducted children through various law enforcement, criminal justice, and other public agencies. Local law enforcements services, as well as the Idaho State Police, provide trained personnel to assist in the safe return of a missing child. The Idaho Missing Children's Clearinghouse has a telephone hotline available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to receive information and inquiries regarding missing children. The Idaho Amber Alert System provides accurate and speedy statewide dissemination of information about the disappearance of a child and online alerts for children reported missing. Multiple internet sites offer lists, photos, and details of children currently missing in Idaho. Safety tips and information to help parents protect their children from child abduction are also available online.
