The Northwest Arctic Borough is a borough in the U.S. state of Alaska. It is located in the northwest corner of the state, and is the largest borough in Alaska by area. The borough seat is Kotzebue.
The Northwest Arctic Borough was established in 1986, and is governed by a seven-member assembly. The borough is divided into seven districts, each of which is represented by an assembly member. The borough is led by a mayor, who is elected by the assembly.
