Voter registration in Texas is run by the Texas Secretary of State and local election officials. Its site lists the registration deadline, polling places and the local election office for Port Arthur. New voters can fill in the Texas application online, but it must be printed, signed and mailed to the Jefferson County voter registrar; driver license holders can also register when they renew or update the license online with the Texas Department of Public Safety.
