The deadline is 25 days before any election. The Village of Waterford holds municipal elections on the third Tuesday in March each year for positions including mayor, trustees, and village justice. The mayor and trustees serve two-year terms, and candidates must file petitions with the Village Clerk at 65 Broad Street by a deadline typically falling in late January or early February. Residents vote in State Senate District 43 and State Assembly District 107 for their state legislative representation.
