Worth County, Missouri Public Records

Worth County is located in the northwest corner of Missouri and is part of the St. Joseph, MO-KS Metropolitan Statistical Area. The county seat is Grant City. The county was organized on February 14, 1845.

Worth County is governed by a three-member county commission, with one commissioner elected from each of the three districts in the county. The county also has a sheriff, prosecuting attorney, assessor, collector, and other elected officials.
