Polling locations are assigned based on voter registration address and precinct boundaries. Under Missouri law (Chapter 115 RSMo), certain election records are public, including voter registration lists with some personal information redacted, candidate filings, campaign finance reports, election results by precinct, and official certifications. The Buchanan County Clerk maintains these records, and precinct-level results are typically published on the Buchanan County website after each election. Campaign finance reports for state and local candidates can be searched through the Missouri Ethics Commission website at www.mec.mo.gov. The county has historically leaned Republican in recent election cycles, though local races can be competitive. At the federal level, Missouri's All of Missouri's eight U.S. House seats will also be contested; Agency falls within Missouri's 6th Congressional District.
