The Aleutians East Borough is a borough located in the U.S. state of Alaska. As of the 2010 census, the population was 3,141. The borough seat is Sand Point.
The borough was formed on October 1, 1990, when the Alaska Legislature passed the Aleutians East Borough Reorganization Act. The borough is located in the Aleutian Islands, and includes the islands of Akutan, Amaknak, Atka, Chuginadak, Kanaga, and Umnak.
