The state requires registration at least 20 days before any election and asks new voters to provide either a driver's license number or the last four digits of their Social Security number; proof of residency may also be requested. Leicester holds its annual Town Meeting typically in May, where residents vote on budget matters and local policy, followed by annual Town Elections for Select Board members, School Committee members, and other municipal offices.
