A point in either file is a location, not a property line: the sheet shows the opening on the surface, not the rooms under it. The record that shows what runs under a parcel is the mine map. The OSMRE National Mine Map Repository holds scanned underground mine maps and answers requests for a named mine or an area.

The County Clerk land-record notice says certain database instruments contain redactions and that the public online database is not the official repository. Use the Clerk's document-request route when the complete official record is needed. Preserve the instrument identifier instead of relying only on an appraisal screenshot.
The land fee schedule lists $1 per copy page plus $5 certification. Ordinary new recording costs $25 for the first page and $4 for an additional page; indexed names and document defects can add charges. Those amounts should not be treated as the price of a certified existing deed.
The Clerk's vital schedule lists $23 per birth copy, $21 for a first death copy and $4 for additional same-order death copies. A certified marriage-license copy costs $6. The authorized ordering service adds channel charges and explains that Collin marriage copies require a license issued by Collin, not merely a ceremony held there. It also identifies the Methodist Richardson Hospital exception to local death-certificate coverage.
The District Clerk instructions describe civil cases filed or completed from 1984 onward and criminal cases filed or completed from 1988 onward in online case search. Earlier files need a staff request, and searches are not provided by phone. Those dates describe this district collection, not every court in the county.
The current civil/family fee table lists document and certification services separately, but leaves its certified-paper-copy amount blank. Ask the Clerk for the complete decree-copy quote before paying; the filing fee for a new divorce is not a copy price.
The Collin Central Appraisal District maintains appraisal records. The Elections Administrator handles voter registration and elections through a separate office. Neither replaces the County Clerk as recorder or the District Clerk as court-file custodian.
The Sheriff's inmate-information notice says the lookup includes current inmates and people released within the past 24 hours. It is a custody listing with that limited release window. The Texas guide provides other state-level record routes.

Booking photos are kept by the agency that made the arrest, such as the Collin County Sheriff or a city police department in Collin County. Ask that agency for its record. Texas Business and Commerce Code chapter 109 covers businesses that publish criminal record information, arrest photographs included, taken from public records or bought from DPS and that charge $150 or more to remove it or any fee to correct it; they must keep it complete and accurate and may not publish records they know are expunged or under an order of nondisclosure.
The Texas criminal history record comes from the Texas Department of Public Safety, Crime Records. Run an online name based search of deferred adjudication and conviction records through the DPS Criminal History Conviction Name Search, or have fingerprints taken by appointment at a DPS FAST location. Fee: $10.00 for a name based check done offline through DPS; $15.00 for a fingerprint based check, plus $10 for fingerprinting at a FAST location.
Search the Texas Department of Public Safety Sex Offender Registry, or every state at once on the National Sex Offender Public Website run by the U.S. Department of Justice.
Register with the county voter registrar or through the Texas Secretary of State, Elections Division. Texas has no online voter registration. Your county voter registrar must receive your application at least 30 days before an election; you can fill out the application online, but you must print, sign and mail it to the registrar.
Deeds and other recorded land documents in Collin County are kept by the Collin County clerk. Property values are set by the county appraisal district, and tax bills come from the county tax assessor-collector. Source: official state page.
Certified birth and death certificates for Texas come from the Texas Department of State Health Services, Vital Statistics. You can get vital records in the county, city or district where the event occurred, and some local offices also provide birth records from anywhere in the state. Online at Texas.gov, by mail to Texas Vital Statistics, Department of State Health Services, P.O. Box 12040, Austin, TX 78711-2040, or in person at the Austin office or a local office. Fee: $22.00 for a certified birth certificate, long or short form.
Business entity filings are searched with the Texas Secretary of State, Business and Public Filings. The State of Texas does not require a general business license; the Governor's Business Permit Office says local permit requirements must also be met.
The Clerk notice expressly distinguishes the public database from the official real-property repository and explains certain redactions. Request the instrument through the Clerk when the official document is required.
The land-record schedule adds $5 certification to copying at $1 per page. New recording and additional indexed-name charges are different services.
The authorized county order instructions say the license must have been issued by Collin. A ceremony in Collin alone does not place the license record with this Clerk.
