Registration can be completed online through the New York State Board of Elections website at voterlookup.elections.ny.gov (which also provides voter registration applications), by mail using a downloadable form, or in person at the Saratoga County Board of Elections office or the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles during license transactions. Area voters are commonly assigned to the Greenfield Fire District or other locations within the town depending on their election district. Under Election Law and the Freedom of Information Law, certain election records in New York are public. Voter registration lists are available for purchase by candidates and political committees under strict usage limitations (Election Law Section 5-208).
