Arkansas residents, including those in the community, can register to vote online through the Arkansas Secretary of State's website at https://www.sos.arkansas.gov/elections/voter-registration. Online registration requires an Arkansas driver's license or state ID card. The state maintains a 30-day registration deadline before any election. Those who prefer can register in person at the Lee County Clerk's Office, at Arkansas Revenue Office locations, or by mailing a completed Arkansas Voter Registration Application. Eligibility requirements include U.S. Citizenship, Arkansas residency, being at least 18 years old by the next election, and not being currently adjudicated as mentally incompetent or convicted of a felony unless voting rights have been restored. As an unincorporated community, La Grange has no municipal government, city council, or mayoral elections. Residents participate exclusively in federal, state, and county-level contests. Lee County holds elections for constitutional county offices including County Judge, who serves as chief executive officer of county government, along with Sheriff, County Clerk, Circuit Clerk, Assessor, Treasurer, Coroner, and Justices of the Peace representing various districts.
