Liberty County Sheriff's Office, located at 10536 NW State Road 20 in Bristol, Florida 32321, is the primary law enforcement agency for the unincorporated areas of Liberty County and provides countywide law enforcement services. Liberty County Detention Facility, operated by the Sheriff's Office, houses inmates arrested in Liberty County and those awaiting trial or serving sentences for misdemeanor offenses. Inmate information and jail roster searches can be conducted by contacting the detention facility directly at or through the Sheriff's Office during regular business hours. Citizens seeking arrest records, booking reports, or incident reports may submit a public records request to the Sheriff's Office either in person at the Bristol headquarters, by mail, or by calling the administrative office. Florida Statute 119.011 defines public records broadly to include all documents, papers, letters, maps, and other materials made or received in connection with official business.
