The county typically operates multiple precinct polling locations on Election Day, with polls open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Advance voting is offered at the Gordon County Administration Building for approximately three weeks before each election, including some Saturday hours. Georgia's publicly accessible election records include voter registration lists (available for purchase by qualified requesters under § 21-2-225 for legitimate purposes), campaign finance disclosure reports filed by candidates and political committees (searchable at ethics.ga.gov through the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission), candidate qualifying information, precinct-level election results, and certified vote totals. Georgia does not have U.S.Current federal, state, and local election schedules, ballot contests, candidate filings, and certified results for Ranger voters are published by the Georgia Secretary of State (https://sos.ga.gov/elections). Statewide races will include all Georgia constitutional offices: Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, and other state officers, all serving four-year terms. Voters will also elect all 180 members of the Georgia House of Representatives (two-year terms) and half of the 56-member Georgia State Senate (senators serve four-year staggered terms). County voters will elect county commissioners whose seats are up for election on the regular cycle, the Sheriff (four-year term), Tax Commissioner, Clerk of Superior Court, and Board of Education members. Judicial elections for Superior Court judgeships may also appear on the ballot if any seats are contested. Primary elections for partisan offices will be held in May 2026, with any necessary runoffs in June 2026, followed by the general election in November.
