State law requires registration at least 14 days before any election to be eligible to vote.
Wyoming permits pre-registration for 16- and 17-year-olds who will turn 18 by the next general election. In the November 2024 general election, Converse County reported turnout of approximately 66-68% of registered voters, consistent with Wyoming's typically participation in presidential elections. The county, like most of Wyoming, voted heavily Republican across federal and state races. House of Representatives (Wyoming's single at-large seat), State Superintendent of Public Instruction, State Auditor, State Treasurer, and Secretary of State, along with Wyoming State Senate and House seats representing Converse County (District 28 Senate and House seats based on current legislative maps). County constitutional offices and potentially county ballot initiatives or referenda will also appear on the ballot. Wyoming permits absentee voting without requiring an excuse; any registered voter may request an absentee ballot by submitting a written request to the Converse County Clerk's office.
