This office administers all federal, state, county, and special district elections for Snyder residents. Colorado offers online voter registration through the Secretary of State's website at www.govotecolorado.gov, where eligible residents can register or update their registration up to 8 days before any election; after that deadline, voters must register in person at the County Clerk's office or at a Vote Center through Election Day. On November 3, 2026, Snyder and Morgan County voters will decide several critical races: Colorado does not have a U.S. Senate seat up in 2026 (both seats were last elected in 2020 and 2022); the Governor's race is also not on the ballot (next in 2026 is an off-cycle year for Colorado's gubernatorial election, which occurs in presidential years); however, voters will elect all members of the Colorado House of Representatives (including District 63, which covers Morgan County), one State Senator if District 1 is up in the rotation, the entire U.S. House of Representatives (Colorado's 4th Congressional District covers Morgan County), and various Morgan County offices such as County Commissioner, Sheriff, and other constitutional officers depending on the election cycle.
