New York residents can register to vote online through the New York State Board of Elections website at voterreg.dmv.ny.gov, by mail using a form available from the county Board or downloadable from the state website, or in person at the Chenango County office, DMV locations, or other designated agencies. The state requires voters to register at least 25 days before an election.
