Voter registration in California is run by the California Secretary of State, and the county elections official keeps the roll for Taft. You can register online, by mail or in person. The deadline to register is 15 days before Election Day; after that, same day (conditional) registration and voting is available at the county elections office.
Certified birth and death certificates for events in California come from the California Department of Public Health, Vital Records (CDPH VR). The fee is $31 for each certified copy of a birth record.
