Certified birth and death certificates for events anywhere in Alaska come from the Alaska Department of Health, Health Analytics and Vital Records Section. By mail or fax with the state request form to PO Box 110675, Juneau, AK 99811, in person at the Anchorage or Juneau office, or online through VitalChek, the only vendor the office works with. Fee: $30 for the first copy of a birth, marriage or death certificate; additional copies $25 each.
The Alaska sex offender registry is publicly accessible online through the Alaska State Police website. You can search by name, address, zip code, or city to find registered sex offenders near Whittier. Registered offenders are required by law to update their address information regularly with local law enforcement.
