Wyoming Missing Children Resources

Wyoming division of criminal investigation and other public agencies join forces when a child is reported missing in Wyoming. Local law enforcement may coordinate initial search efforts; however, the Wyoming Missing Children Clearinghouse plays an important role by providing resources for families, caregivers, and the professionals who serve them in assisting in the recovery of children who go missing from Wyoming. The Wyoming Child Amber Alert is cooperative effort between law-enforcement agencies, Wyoming Association of Broadcasters, Wyoming Department of Transportation and the National Weather Service to activate an urgent bulletin in the most serious child-abduction cases. The Wyoming Internet Crimes Against Children Team are trained in internet undercover operations as well as computer forensic examinations to prevent the exploitation of children. It is also a vast resource for child abduction prevention.
