Mendham is a borough in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. It is known for its rural atmosphere, historic buildings, and its proximity to the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. The Mendham Borough Council is the governing body of the Borough of Mendham. The Council is composed of six members, elected at-large in partisan elections to serve three-year terms of office on a staggered basis, with two seats coming up for election each year. The Mayor is elected directly by the voters to a four-year term of office. The Borough Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
