The government of Del Norte County, California is organized as a five-member Board of Supervisors, elected by the citizens of the county. The Board of Supervisors is the legislative body of the county, responsible for setting policy, enacting ordinances, and approving the county budget. The Board of Supervisors is also responsible for appointing the County Administrator, who is the chief executive officer of the county.

Del Norte County is located in the far northwest corner of California, bordering Oregon and the Pacific Ocean.
