The voter registration deadline is 15 days before any election, though California also offers conditional voter registration during the 14-day period leading up to and including Election Day at designated locations. Voters must be U.S. Citizens, California residents, at least 18 years old by Election Day, and not currently serving a state or federal prison term for a felony conviction.
