The registration deadline is 10 days before an election, though the state recently implemented early voting and same-day registration during the early voting period for some voters. To register, applicants must be U.S. Citizens, 18 years old by election day, residents of Dutchess County for at least 30 days before the election, and not currently incarcerated for a felony conviction.
