Voter registration in Arkansas is run by the Arkansas Secretary of State, and the county clerk keeps the roll for Lavaca. Arkansas has no online voter registration: the form goes in by mail or in person at a registration office. Submit the application to a voter registration agency or mail it no later than 30 days before the election; the postmark counts as the submission date.
Certified birth and death certificates for events in Arkansas come from the Arkansas Department of Health, Vital Records. The fee is $12 for the first copy of a birth record and $10 for each additional copy of the same record ordered at the same time. The Department of Health offers vital records services in every county through its Local Health Units, which take walk in birth certificate requests.
