Voter registration in Missouri is run by the Missouri Secretary of State, Elections Division, and the local election authority keeps the roll for Lees Summit. You can register online, by mail or in person. You must be registered by 5:00 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday before the election (RSMo 115.135).
Certified birth and death certificates for events in Missouri come from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Bureau of Vital Records. The fee is $15 per birth record and $15 for each added copy; $14 per death record and $11 for each added copy. Local public health agencies also issue birth certificates for births from 1920 on and death certificates for deaths from 1980 on.
