Registration must be completed 28 days before any election, and voters must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship when registering and present photo identification at the polls. As an unincorporated community, Levasy does not hold municipal elections for mayor or city council. Residents instead vote in Jackson County-wide elections, state legislative districts, and federal races. County voters elect three County Executive positions, County Legislature members representing district seats, County Assessor, County Prosecutor, Public Administrator, Recorder of Deeds, Sheriff, and various judgeships in contested retention elections. Finding an assigned polling location is straightforward using the polling place lookup tool at https://voteroutreach.sos.mo.gov/portal/ or by contacting the election board. The tool requires a residential address and returns the specific precinct voting location, sample ballot, and election day hours. Public election records in Missouri include voter registration rolls (available for purchase by candidates and political committees), campaign finance reports filed with the Missouri Ethics Commission (searchable at https://mec.mo.gov), candidate filing information available through the Secretary of State and county election boards, and precinct-level election results published after each election. Individual voter history, which elections a person voted in, though not how they voted, is also public record.S. House Representatives, including the district covering the area (currently Missouri's 4th Congressional District represented by Mark Alford). State-level races will include all 163 Missouri House seats and half of the 34 Missouri Senate seats, meaning residents will elect their state Representative and potentially their state Senator depending on the district cycle. Jackson County races will include County Prosecutor, Recorder of Deeds, and several County Legislature seats. Missouri allows absentee voting by mail for any registered voter without requiring an excuse.
