Polling places are typically located in Columbia Falls, Hungry Horse, or other nearby community centers, as the area's small population does not warrant its own precinct polling location. Montana allows any voter to request an absentee ballot without providing a reason; requests can be made through the Flathead County election office by mail, in person, or online. Mail ballots must be postmarked by Election Day and received by 8:00 PM on Election Day. Early in-person voting is available at the Flathead County Election Office beginning 30 days before any election.
