Sheriff & Law Enforcement. Oldham County Sheriff's Office is responsible for law enforcement in the unincorporated areas of Oldham County.
Police Departments. Oldham County is served by several law enforcement agencies, including Oldham County Sheriff's Office and municipal police departments such as the La Grange Police Department and the Crestwood Police Department. Each agency has jurisdictional authority within its respective area, with the Sheriff's Office covering unincorporated regions and city departments handling municipal areas.
Law Enforcement & Arrests. Oldham County Sheriff's Office, headquartered at 1100 South Highway 393 in La Grange, Kentucky 40031, is the primary law enforcement agency for unincorporated areas of Oldham County and provides detention services through Oldham County Detention Center. Municipal police departments operate within incorporated cities, including the La Grange Police Department (502-222-1253), Crestwood Police Department (502-241-1333), and Pewee Valley Police Department (502-241-2900), each handling law enforcement matters within their respective city limits.
