Sheriff & Law Enforcement. Randolph County Sheriff's Office is responsible for law enforcement in the unincorporated areas of Randolph County.

Police Departments. In addition to Randolph County Sheriff's Office, several municipal police departments operate within Randolph County, including the Asheboro Police Department, Archdale Police Department, and Randleman Police Department. These agencies have jurisdiction within their respective city limits and work in coordination with the Sheriff's Office on major crimes that cross municipal boundaries.

Law Enforcement & Arrests. Randolph County Sheriff's Office, headquartered at 727 McDowell Road, Asheboro, NC 27205, is the primary law enforcement agency for unincorporated areas of Randolph County. Randolph County Detention Center, located adjacent to the Sheriff's Office, houses inmates awaiting trial and those serving sentences. Municipal law enforcement is provided by the Asheboro Police Department (460 North Fayetteville Street, Asheboro), Archdale Police Department (serving the Town of Archdale), Liberty Police Department, Randleman Police Department, Ramseur Police Department, and Trinity Police Department. Arrest records in Randolph County are considered public records under North Carolina General Statute § 132-1, the North Carolina Public Records Law.
