Sheriff & Law Enforcement. Warren County Sheriff's Office is responsible for maintaining law and order in the unincorporated areas of Warren County.
Police Departments. Warren County is served by several law enforcement agencies, including Warren County Sheriff's Office and the Bowling Green Police Department.
Law Enforcement & Arrests. Warren County Sheriff's Office, led by Sheriff Brett Hightower, is headquartered at 427 East 10th Avenue in Bowling Green, Kentucky 42101, and can be contacted through the office’s website. Warren County Regional Jail, located at 427 East 10th Avenue, houses pre-trial detainees and sentenced misdemeanants. Municipal law enforcement is provided by the Bowling Green Police Department (911 Engine House Drive, Bowling Green, KY 42101, phone: 270-393-4000), which serves the city of Bowling Green and is the primary municipal department in Warren County. Smaller incorporated areas may contract with the Sheriff's Office for police services. Arrest records in Warren County are considered public records under Kentucky Open Records Act KRS 61.870 to 61.884.

The Bowling Green area District Court, also located at 429 East 10th Street (phone: 270-842-9301), handles misdemeanor criminal cases, traffic violations, civil cases under $5,000, juvenile matters, small claims, probate proceedings, and mental inquest warrants.

Registration books close on the fourth Tuesday before an election (KRS 116.045(2)); for the 2026 general election the last day to register was Monday, October 5, with online registrations due by 4:00 PM local time.
