Sheriff & Law Enforcement. Wayne County Sheriff's Office is responsible for maintaining law and order throughout Wayne County, particularly in unincorporated areas.
Police Departments. In addition to Wayne County Sheriff's Office, law enforcement in Wayne County is supported by the Monticello Police Department.
Law Enforcement & Arrests. Wayne County Sheriff's Office, located at 198 South Main Street, Monticello, KY 42633, is the primary law enforcement agency for unincorporated areas of Wayne County. The Monticello Police Department provides law enforcement services within the city limits of Monticello and can be contacted for Kentucky State Police Post 15 in Columbia also provides supplemental law enforcement coverage and major crime investigation assistance to Wayne County.
