Sheriff & Law Enforcement. Russell County Sheriff's Office is responsible for law enforcement in the unincorporated areas of Russell County.
Police Departments. In addition to Russell County Sheriff's Office, law enforcement in Russell County is supported by municipal police departments, including the Jamestown Police Department and the Russell Springs Police Department.

Russell County Sheriff's Office, headquartered at 1979 South Highway 127 in Russell Springs, Kentucky 42642, provides primary law enforcement services throughout the unincorporated areas of Russell County.
